When I thought about going back to work after having my daughter Ellie and getting the all clear from Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a blood cancer, I was drawn to a more creative job (from my previous career in Media Sales).

These two major events slowed my life right down, making me appreciate the small, seemingly insignificant moments of my day. Keeping me positive and focused on finding the joy in the chaos. I applied for an online floristry course as well as getting a job in a local florist and had the best time creating and learning.

In March 2021 Fenton Yard Flowers was born! It feels like everything has been leading to this moment, bringing my love to create and desire to bring joy to people around me, as well as the urge to run my own business.

Flowers can boost your mood, reduce stress and improve wellbeing, and cut flowers enable us to bring these benefits into our home and into the lives of loved ones. I am passionate about spreading joy to people through my subscription flowers.

I have a purpose driven business and it delights me to see how I can brighten someone’s day with the power of nature.
